Benjamín Pérez
Born in Vigo, he knew from a very young age that he wanted to develop his artistic interests by working with hair. After several years of training in his hometown, he decided to explore new horizons and moved to Barcelona to continue developing as a professional. Working in a new hairdressing salon introduced him to the world of fashion, giving him the opportunity to show his creations in places such as the Gaudí fashion show, the Liceu theatre and publications in magazines such as Vogue, Vein magazine and Metal magazine. In his constant professional development, he made the leap to the audiovisual world showing his skills under the direction of film directors such as Daniel Monzón, David Trueba, Félix Sabroso, Isabel Coixet and international directors such as Terry Gilliam, Peter Cattaneo and Pierre Morel.
Among his best-known projects, it is worth highlighting: Mi amiga Eva by Cesc Gay (currently in post-production), Uncharted by Reuben Fleischer, The Gunman by Pierre Morel, Saben aquell by David Trueba (for which he won a Goya nomination and a Gaudí award) and Les lleis de la frontera by Daniel Monzón (for which he won the Goya for best make-up and hair and another Gaudí award).
He is currently involved in the spin-off of Daryl Dixon from the universe of The Walking Dead, without neglecting national projects.
