Bases Contest Limit 48h
The contest of short films LIMI 48h més will be celebrated from the 30th of June to the 2nd of July of 2017.
The jury will watch the short films and will give the verdict on July 2 at the end of the screening of the short films.
The Jury will be formed by the same professionals who form the jury of the official section of feature films Low Budget.
1. PARTICIPATION
The competition will consist of two categories:
Children: 11 to 17 years old (Free registration)
Adult: 18 years and over (Registration 10 €)
2. THEME
The theme will be free, but to ensure that the short films are made in the 48 hours proposed by the festival, will be given a guideline that must be included in the short film.
On Friday, June 30th at 10am, the mandatory guidelines will be published on the Festival website.
3. REGISTRATION
Participants have two options for registration:

PRESENT
Friday, June 30 from 10:00 a.m. in SALA MOZART, C / Esglèsia 91, Calella de Mar.
In the category of adults, the amount of 10 € will have to be paid as an enrollment, by means of income in bank account or in cash at the time of the inscription in person.
The entry will have to be made before the end of the registration period and the receipt of payment must be submitted next to the work, via email or in person.
In case of non-payment of proof of payment, the short film will not enter into competition.
Once the entry is made, no refund requests will be accepted.

4. REQUIREMENTS
A. The works presented must be short films, in which a story is told.
B. The genre and thematic is of free choice, but must include the pattern set out above.
C. The duration of the works, including the titles of credit, will be of minimum 1 minute and maximum 4 minutes.
D. The shorts will be delivered on a pendrive in one of the formats Mp4, Avi, Mkv or Mov and next to the Data Form of the work.
A room will be available to advise on the assembly of the works, but it is recommended that if you have notions of assembly, it is done on own account.
Assembly session: Sunday 2 July, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. -Rio Calella, C / Sant Jaume 137 (Llobet Factory)
5. TERMS
Entries must be submitted between 10:00 am and 12:00 p.m. on Sunday 2 July in the lobby of the Mozart Room (C / Esglèsia, 91) with the data form of the work or via Wetransfer to the festival mail , With the proof of payment attached.
6. MINORS OF AGE
The participation of minors, both in technical and artistic, will require the authorization of a guardian at the time of registration. For security during the realization of the short film the presence of a responsible adult or guardian is recommended.
7. PRESELECTION AND SELECTION
The participating short films will be screened by the jury that will make a previous selection, which will evaluate the idea and the staging of the same, not the technical means used.
The works will be screened on Sunday, July 2 at 5:00 p.m. and the delivery ceremony will be held at approximately 7:00 p.m., once the projection of the works in the Mozart Hall is finished.
8. AWARDS
Categories:
Children (9 to 17 years): Ipad Mini 2. A single IPad Mini 2 will be delivered, even if the project team consists of more than one person
Adult (18 years and over): Master’s degree script and direction of actors (Tecnocampus) 2017-2018. If the prize winner waives the prize, it will automatically go to the project that comes second. The prize can not be exchanged for another consideration nor for the cash amount of the master’s cost.
CONDITIONS FOR THE CONDUCT OF AUDIOVISUAL ACTIVITIES IN THE PUBLIC WAY FOR CALELLA FILM FESTIVAL.
- At no time shall the traffic of the pedestrians or of the road traffic be impeded.
- The use of public address system is prohibited.
- Handling or access to any municipal installation or service is prohibited, without the prior authorization of the same.
- Participants must clean the affected area once the authorized activity is completed.
- Minors must be accompanied by an adult for filming safety.
- The Festival is not responsible for damages to third parties that may occur directly or indirectly for being involved in this contest.
- Any practice that could endanger a member of the shooting team, as well as third persons, is expressly prohibited.
- If for some reason the rules established by the rules of Competition Limit 48h are not met, the short film will be automatically disqualified from the contest.
ACCEPTANCE
Participation in the contest implies the acceptance of the bases, as well as the decisions taken by the jury.The organization of the competition reserves the possibility of making a video copy, as well as its dissemination in cultural areas and through the website of Calella Film Festival, guaranteeing in any case the exploitation rights on the part of the author. Any element used in the performance of the work that derives copyright will be the responsibility of the contestants.
