The FANTASY CALELLA FESTIVAL was born in the surroundings of the Calella Film Festival in collaboration with the Commission of the Carnival of Alt Maresme. Both entities collaborate to organize a summer costume contest, in a format different from the usual carnival. No floats or large participating groups are required.
Groups of a minimum of 5 people will be able to compete, who will have to prepare costumes, costumes, make-up and choreographies that will impress an itinerant jury, which will be everywhere where there are activities and parties organized.
The schedule and place of scheduled activities will be published soon on this web page. All activities will be held on Saturday June 16, date that coincides with the small festival of Calella.
We want the Fantasy Festival Calella, to be a party for all those who want to parade in disguise and have a good time. The most attractive and fun creativity and extravagance will be especially valued.
