The TecnoCampus president, Dolores Guillén, and the president of the Rosebud Association of Film Lovers, Albert Guinart, as organizer of the Calella Film Festival, have signed a collaboration agreement for TecnoCampus to be one of the sponsors of the second edition Of this audiovisual festival that takes place from 24 June to 2 July in Calella.
At the signing of the agreement, which took place on Friday, June 23, Marcos Faúndez, as director of the Polytechnic School, also attended; María Soliño Barreiro, as coordinator of the Degree in Audiovisual Media, and Jonathan Ruiz, director of the Calella Film Festival.
The sponsorship of TecnoCampus in the festival consists of the gratuitous enrollment of the Postgraduate in Script and Direction of Actors that is imparted from the Polytechnical Superior School of TecnoCampus, that will be granted to the winner in the category Límit48h. This is a contest of short films where participants must capture a story in a maximum of 48 hours, including all the tasks of recording and editing the audiovisual piece. The agreement also includes, among other aspects, the realization of the workshop “Basic tools for the writing of a script” to promote the postgraduate. The session, which will take place on Friday 30 June at 17h, will be led by Ariadna Vázquez, screenwriter and coordinator of this postgraduate course aimed at professionals from the audiovisual world.
The objective of the Calella Film Festival is to consolidate itself as a leading quality film festival in the region of Maresme, but also with international projection. Both entities agreed to point out the importance of this agreement as a way to intensify relations between the university world, society and the territory in the audiovisual field.
