The Calella Film Festival was born in this town in 2015. The first edition was the summer of 2016. From the 24th of June to the 2nd of July the second edition will be celebrated. The festival is organized by the Rosebud Associations of Film Lovers and is an initiative that from the outset has been strongly supported by the Tourist Association of Calella as of the Calella Town Hall, being the product of exceptional public-private collaboration that exists in the town and that previously, has allowed multitude of initiatives of great success.
It is a non-profit organization whose objective is the promotion and diffusion of cinema, emphasizing in particular the formation of new generations, both in cinematographic culture and in technical and creative knowledge, in order to be able to carry out future cinematographic projects in the future. Their own means.
The Festival will also play formative areas, as well as other related artistic areas, completely the cinema sessions with musical or theatrical viewers.
